Williams_Creek_Lake_Reservoir_CO_2013

It is near Pagosa Springs.
It has campgrounds near the lake reservoir.
The water level is good.
It is no wake lake that means no fast boats and no waves, so that the canoes and kayaks can enjoy paddling.
It is 173 miles, and takes 4 hours and 41 minutes from Los Alamos.

Haviland_Lake_CO_2013

 This is Haviland Lake in Colorado.
It is between Durango and Silverton.
It has a campground.
The water level is good. 
You can boat and fish.
It is no wake lake that means the boats cannot drive fast and no waves so that the canoes and kayaks can enjoy paddling.
It is 227 miles, and takes 4 hours and 14 minutes from Los Alamos.

Twin_Lakes_CO_2013

 This is Twin Lakes in Colorado. 
I took the Twin Lakes from the mountain.
There are campgrounds around Twin Lakes.
The water level was good.
 You can boat in there.
The lakes are wake lakes that mean the boats can go faster and can make waves.
It is 260 miles and takes about 5 hours from Los Alamos.


Heron_Lake_NM_2013

 This is what happened to Heron lake, NM.
The water level was low because of the drought.
It is about 98 miles, and takes about 2 hours from Los Alamos.
